Queen of Hearts was founded by the designer and maker Paula Tongue in 2004 to an enthusiastic reception from the public and the local press, and has since gone on to establish an enviable reputation for specialist tailoring, bespoke corsets, corseted frocks and bridal wear. Now she aims to take her skills to a wider audience.

Over years of experience as a specialist designer, creating corsets and tailored outfits for ladies and gentlemen of all shapes and sizes, Paula enjoys bringing out the very best in every client's figure. “We are all individuals, in shape and personality. This is reflected in my work, so my clothes are individual too.”

With another string to her bow, Paula is also an innovative silversmith, creating jewellery using sterling silver and gemstones. Working with the fluidity of silver and contrasting that with the glassiness of the stones, Paula breathes new life into an ancient craft.

The Queen of Hearts works on a commission only basis, so you will not find a Queen of Hearts frock in any high street stores.
